Wednesday Predictions

The first game of 3 on Wednesday is High Timez Vs Freedom, this is a fixture that was re-arranged and extremely short notice. It was originally re-arranged to be played on Sunday. Now if games could be played on Sunday I would love it lol. This is going to be HT’s first match up of the season since they failed to show up vs PK last week, that match has been re-arranged for Friday I believe. Freedom had a good win last week, no offence to Dan but he promised me he was going to have a sicc team and that his roster was full, he turned up with a poor-average team and said he had more to come this week (guess we will never know). Freedom have a few decent players all of which are capable of carrying on their given day. Rumors of Ant joining were scuppered with the announcement of 8ball runners signing up. I really don’t foresee FR having too many problems in getting past this HT team.

The biggest match-up of the week takes place tonight as long as Pool Kings actually turn up, will Omar have done his job of getting his players eligible? Who knows. PK have lost Adam to X8B, and have now lost the chance of having myself on their roster (with the new of 8BR), im not sure whether Omar will get a team together. He also has the re-arranged fixture with HT on Friday, so if he doesn’t have a team here I doubt he will have one on Friday. LPL had a miserable performance vs X8B last week, X8B out performed them from start to finish. I was really surprised that they didn’t put up more of a fight, I am hoping that this was just a glitch and they turn up with there heads screwed on to this match-up.

Extreme Pool Competitors pushed Magic Pool all the way last week and were very unlucky not to come out with the win, EPC cant argue Jordy aimed because he beat at least 4 EPC players on Cam. This match went on forever with Jordy sealing EPC’s fate with a victory over Death(the hider)cluthes. I envision EPC to come out in this match with only a victory in mind they will not feel that a slip up is possible. True Champs on the other hand had a very good win in the opening game of MPI season 1 and will feel that they have every chance of taking the Victory here. It is going to be a close match-up the winner will be the team who make the least amount of errors.

Monday Preditions

The first week saw the Head Admin of MPI’s league withdraw, there were a few issues with some of the admins and it didn’t work out. Nevertheless Dan is now a RankMonster and will be looking to help them win their first interleague.

The first match up of week 2 should see Magic Pool continue their season with another win. I don’t really foresee them having much of a problem here. 8 Ball delight were beaten by an average RM team and if they want to make any kind of mark on their interleague journey they will have to try finding a few big guns. As I said in my last prediction for an MP match Jordy will carry if his team don’t perform, he did just that winning all 5 games. He may see this match as a match to try new players although I doubt it because MP turns up with the same 5/7 for every interleague.

With Elite Pool Legendz now history, it opened a new spot of which the big shots 8 Ball Runners took advantage of. They join the Interleague with a 0-1 record, they will be hoping this will be their only loss of the season. And I can see that being the case with the personnel that Perry has at his disposal. I didn’t see who Pool Loverz turned up with last week but I really don’t remember them having any key players that can compete with anyone from the 8BR team. I could see Perry trying out his weaker team in this fixture and still coming out on top.

Thursday Predictions

Latino Pool Legends are one of the teams in this interleague that should do well, they have a few key players none of which are amazing but all that can beat anyone on their day. MPI is ideal for teams like this. LPL I believe will be hard contenders to PK for season 1 crown. I have watched a few of their players but I can never understand what the hell they talk about lol since they only talk in cling on.Xtreme8Ball are probably the strongest pool league on yahoo, they have about 1000 members and host at least 50 tourneys daily. You would think with those sorts of strength in depth that they would be able to bring a pretty damn strong team to the table. It will be interesting to see who they bring. Will they have any players that are well known? I doubt it, I believe they will bring 5 unknown players.

RankMonsters I know nothing what so ever about, I asked in the lobby of their room yesterday if they had any good players, someone called go.elusive said they were so good luck to them. Rankmonsters are non cases league, so they attract different kinds of ypool players. I hope they bring something new to the interleague.8BallCrushers is yet another league I know nothing what so ever about. I have never seen this team compete in interleagues before. I hope to have a bit more to say about this league next week when I have done some background research.

Wednesday Predictions

Wednesday sees only one game.

PoolKings will be the outright favourites to take MPI’s first seasons crown, they are by far the most stacked team and are likely to attract more big names because they are one of if not the most well known decent league in it. I have noticed Omar will be captaining PK in this i am not to sure if Adam approved of entering it. Anyway they are here now and more then likely raring to go. Their first game against High Timez could be a tricky one.

High Timez have not been performing to well in their only other interleague MPL, the thing is i know they have a few players capable of stringing wins together. This interleague will be more their style im sure they will be able to perform better here. They will need to bring Mickey week in week out to boost their chances he isn’t the greatest player but he is certainly a solid performer who has been there and done it.

Tuesday Predictions

Extreme Pool Competitors is another league that has been set up by Jack, yes the famous annoying one, (hes not that bad) unfortunately i don’t think he has a strong enough team to be able to compete at the top because his team will be relying on him too much. Jack is a reasonable player but nothing good about him, I don’t know any of the other EPC players currently signed up. Jack will have to try and get hold of 1 or 2 key players on Ypool to stand a chance of putting his league on the map.

Magic Pool have a lot of average to good players with Jordy as captain they should do fairly well because if his team don’t perform he SHOULD carry. Magic Pool as i always say tend to cause more drama then winning games, if they put the drama energy in to concentration they would be unstoppable. MP have a solid team that they use in all interleagues, some are better off cam then on but im not going to get in to that here.

Elite Pool Legendz, Yes! They’re back again, Nick and Dan are doing a good job in trying to revitalise the league, all my offliners seem to be Dan sending me links to jump lol. I hope it works. I know Dan well and i know he wont have a shit team because he hates to lose. Dan himself has improved alot and will be hoping that under his leadership he can take the first seasons crown. This match will be key to see how good epl are?

Freedom from my past experience tended to only play UIC, they were not to bad in that and only underperformed because they were let down by key players, this interleague is a carry format so i think it will suit them down to the ground. I am guessing (i havnt checked because i am in a rush) they they will bring ash and Eskimo to the table and these 2 will be hoping to upset EPL’s parade.

Monday Predictions

On the opening day of MPI we see 2 mediocre fixtures, seeing 4 teams i expect to fight it out for maybe the last playoff spot.

True Champs from what I have seen in other interleagues only really have one player that they can count on most weeks for a W and that is itchy.ballz. I am sure TC_rich will argue that fact because he has been performing well in UIC. If I was to do TC’s predictions by UIC I would say that they only really have 6 players that they can rely to turn up every week. I am not to sure who they may have brought in to help boost their side. I don’t really see them progressing that far in MPI unless Itchy_ballz carries.
My question is who are 8 Ball Delight? I have never heard of this league, I hope they can come in and make a name for themselves. Right a little bit of info for you all on 8BD, they are a private league. They have a low tolerance for drama, this should be good as they should be a well organised and very sportsman like. They seem to be a fairly active league with over 150 members.

Well I have never come across deadstrokes in an interleague before, I can imagine they are a fairly well organised league but with very few outstanding players (just my pre thoughts). If their UIC team is anything to go by they do have one out and out winner in Ashton, on his day he is one of the best, and deadstrokes will be hoping that he can carry them through because I really can see anyone else that can be relied upon.
Pool Loverz are a league I played for a long time ago, I am really not that sure how they are still around because they struggled to get 4 players in a tourney when ypool was popular. Who will they bring to the table? I have had a quick look through PZ standings and the only player that really stands out is elkaholic_420 they will need to bring at least one player that can string some wins together, is he the man? Time will tell.
